Wentworth Motors has been part of Southbourne for decades, run by the same family at Portman Terrace on Wentworth Avenue. In 2025 two new owners took over, one of them a technician with more than 20 years' experience, including time with Porsche.

What MOT class do you test?
Class 4 only: cars and light vans up to 3,000 kg. We don't test motorbikes or vans over 3,000 kg.
Do you do car diagnostics?
Yes. Warning lights and faults are found with an initial assessment for £75, which comes off the repair if you go ahead with us.
Do you work on my make of car?
Yes. We work on all makes. For electric and hybrid cars we do routine servicing, such as brakes, tyres, suspension, fluids and checks. We don't carry out high-voltage repairs.
